The Activation Venues Forum 2017 - an Initiative by Umbrella Aegis

On a very smog filled day, the only thing that shone through brightly as ever was the beautiful Veda Farms, where the prestigious TAVF - The Activations Venues Forum was held, an initiative by Umbrella Aegis Pvt. Ltd. that took place on the 8th of November 2017 in New Delhi. With the first edition taken place in Mumbai, this year TAVF travelled all the way to Delhi, leaving its home ground and jumping into the deep end with the biggest names in the industry.

The power packed day was kickstarted with an inspirational address by Mr. Sabbas Joseph (Director - Wizcraft, President - EEMA), keynote address by Vikas Saraogi (Head - Acceptance Development, South Asia - MasterCard) and a great presentation by DLF Malls. The day also consisted of a riveting panel discussion which had participation from Venues, Brands & Agencies, all at one place. Holographic Specialist, Mr. Bertrand Riviere from Musion also presented all the amazing technologies they have to offer and unique innovation solutions which can help increase engagement at shopping centres all over. Minodes GmbH had also set up an impressive kiosk with Mr. Alexander Koth, the Managing Director and Founder himself in presence. Mr. Sunil Shroff, CEO - Viviana Malls, also gave an insightful talk about the current shopping centre scenario in the country. Varija Bajaj, renowned Indian fashion designer and icon also graced the occasion with her presence and was also a part of the jury.

The star attraction of the entire forum was the award ceremony for shopping malls and brands. Few of the major wins of the night were DLF Malls for Best Venue for Activation Campaign, VR Bengaluru for Best Festive Decor, Select Citywalk for Best Marketing Initiative, Express Avenue for Highest Footfall, DB City Mall for Best Activation Campaign, Reebok for Best Digital Campaign, Kidzania for Best Experiential Marketing Platform, Nerolac for Best BTL Campaign, and many more.

There was also an incredibly spine-chilling performance by Mr. Asad Khan, Multi instrumentalist and the genius behind the beautiful Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, who set the tone for the evening, where all professionals could let loose and have a day dedicated to them and their hard work.

With over 300 attendees, the event was a huge success and Umbrella Aegis hopes to take TAVF to better heights.
