Mumbai, Apr 15 (PTI) Groundnut oil declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on reduced demand from stockists and retailers amid fresh arrivals from producing belts.

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial continued downtrend for the third straight session due to weak demand from shippers and soap industries.

Refined palmolein and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

In the edible section, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,050 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,060.

Refined palmolein ended unaltered at Rs 555 per 10 kg.

Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 100 per 100 kg to 4,850 from Rs 4,950 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 20 to Rs 1,000 as against Rs 1,020 previously.

Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 850 per 10kg.
