Gurgaon, Nov 26 (PTI) Gurgaon Police today claimed to have busted an interstate gang of robbers with the arrest of five persons, including a scrap dealer, who were allegedly involved in at least 25 robberies on gun points on Sohna road.

Inspector Arun said they were arrested following a tip-off while allegedly planning to rob a motorist at Dohala road at Sohna road.

Police have recovered 20 motorcycles, which they had allegedly robbed, three motor engines, a country-made weapon and iron rods from their possession, the Officer said.

During interrogation the accused told the interrogators they were involved in at least 25 robberies with motorists on gun point.

They used to sell the robbed articles to Naresh, a resident of Ambedkar Colony in Sohna, who worked as a scrap dealer, he added.

Police later arrested Naresh too from his residence.

A case was registered against them under Arms Act at Sohna police station.
